Harrison’s
life has been centered on music from and early age. Taking up the guitar
in second grade, percussion throughout elementary and middle school, and
singing in the chorus. Harrison’s musical interest rapidly diversified.
He was an All-State singer two years in a row and participated in the
All-County Honors Chorus. He is currently a third year member of the
Marching Band at his school and is leader of the percussion as well
section leader in Concert Band.
Guitar is
Harrison’s instrument of choice, emulating the styles of Wes Montgomery,
Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Little Charlie
and Alex Lifeson to name a few. These greats have inspired Harrison’s
interests in Jazz, Rock, Blues, and Swing. Harrison “cut his teeth” in
the local band Chaos at the age of 10, and is currently a member of the
Amp Band.
